Designed in 1972 by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, designer of the legendary Porsche 911 and founder of Porsche Design, and relaunched in 2022 to celebrate the brand’s 50th anniversary: the Chronograph 1 – 1972 Limited Edition (500 pieces). Functions:
Function with Display unlock
- Tap 6 = Display unlock/lock Tap function
- markers will blink until taps are locked.
- Tap Center for zoom, twice for extra zoom
- Top = set/reset time mark bezel
- Tap 3 = adjust face brightness
- Tap 7 = shows battery hand in the subdial.
- Symbol between 7 and 8 o’clock is flashing when the charge is 20% or less.
- Tap 9 = move hands to 3 o’clock for stopwatch
- Tap 11 = change face back
- Tap 12 = DIM mode off / on / sunset / auto
- Tap subdial to start/stop Chronograph, double Tap for reset
- UCOLOR for DIM mode
- Days of the week in English and weekends in different colors.

The unique characters of the brand can be traced back to the company founder, to his person and his history: the eldest of the four sons of Dorothea and Ferry Porsche, born on December 11, 1935, spent a lot of time as a child in his grandfather’s design offices and development facilities in Stuttgart .
