Another watch from Micromilspec. I love the fact they design and manufacturer bespoke military watch faces. The name kind of hints at what they do.
Micromilspec is a Norwegian watch maker that make watches for the military, first responders etc. They design and manufacture individual designs, which is unheard of these days. Do yourself a favor and check out there web site, it is something else. I have never seen another watch site like it, just do a search for Micromilspec.
They also just don’t do watches for the military etc, but also for private companies. This particular watch was done for Widerøes Flyveselskap AS, trading as Widerøe. They are an Norwegian airline, and is the largest regional airline operating in the Nordic countries.
Dial inspired by the white Widerøe livery, with a pattern derived from the airlines’ mountain silhouette theme. Decorated with a Dash 8 propeller and a E190 turbine. Sword-shaped hands inspired by classical pilot’s watches. Unidirectional rotating bezel with a 12-hour UTC scale.
Not drawn entirely from scratch in GIMP and assembled and coded in WatchMaker.
